Last year's most blogged about band, Black Honey, are continuing to court success with new single 'Hello Today'. True to form, its a bolshy rock anthem that throws serious weight behind both its guitar rifts and the talents of front woman Izzy Philips. Her attitude-filled drawl is growing in confidence, and channels the best bits of 90's Brit-Pop as it snarls and dares you to mess with her gang. There are definitely poppier moments, but for the most part Black Honey just make really fun rock and roll designed for thrashing about to. And on hearing 'Hello Today' that is exactly what we are going to do. - SJ
